Shift your mentality from getting to giving.
From Getting to Giving, To Getting Again
We have learned that giving can be very contagious. When we give, we inspire others to give, and our efforts can span across several degrees of people. Meaning, you could inspire hundreds of people you have never even met to give.
It is through this cyclical nature of giving, that results in you actually getting more, when you give.
Several studies have shown including one from sociologist Brent Simpson and Robb Willer that when you give, your generosity is likely to be rewarded back to you.
This does not work in blind faith or by luck, it works based on social behavior. Giving is a form of communication or bond between humans that builds loyalty and trust. When you show those around you that you are a giving person, people will feel a sense of trust and cooperation with you that will enable them to be more giving towards you.
Never think that because you are giving something, you are actually losing something else, because on the contrary life works in a different way. When you switch your purpose from getting to giving, you end up getting more than before.
“Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.”
