Simplify Your Life
Clear away distractions and focus on the essential.
For many of us, our online presence is very important to us. The internet can be used to do some great things: stay in touch with old friends or far friends, research, shop conveniently, read some great articles, take this amazing and life changing course on happiness, etc.
But we tend to over do it. Yesterday you were asked to simplify your relationship with the internet.
How was it to let go of some of your social media sites?
Were you able to do it?
Do you miss it already?
Have you found yourself having more time to do other stuff?
Do you have less anxiety?
Do your eyes feel better from spending less time on the computer?
For many of us the internet will always be an extension of us because of our jobs or for other reasons.
The trick is to spend as little time on it as possible.
Get on. Get off. Go outside.
Go spend time with your family, your friends, your loved ones.
The more distractions you clear away, the more you realize how much valuable treasure there is in your life.
“A man is rich in proportion to the number of things which he can afford to let alone.
~ Henry David Thoreau
